Late Sri Satyadeo Sonthalia – Founder of SONTHALIA GROUP laid the foundation for the group's foray into manufacturing by setting up a unit in the year 1963 for manufacturing of Engineering poducts of Iron & Steel.
Sri Sudesh Sonthalia (Chairman) and Sri Rajesh Sonthalia (Vice Chairman cum Managing Director) - the two sons of Late Sri Satyadeo Sonthalia - have transformed the group into a multi-product Business House with interests in Solar Energy & Equipments, Plastics & Polymers, Knitted Fabrics & Apparels, Gems & Jewellery, Steel & Metal and Infrastructure Development.

Solar Cells, Modules & Farming

Promoting to make Solar Energy the core element in Global electricity supply and for a Green and Clean future, the Group has focused on Solar cell production, PhotoVoltaic (PV) module Manufacturing and Solar Farming for Power Generation.

The Group is in discussion for equipment and technical collaboration with SCHMID and CENTROTHERM of Germany for setting up a PV Solar cell manufacturing facility. It would be implemented in phases- the first phase would entail a 100 MW and will go up to 500 MW of Cell Capacity.
