The core business of The Sonthalia Group has been its manufacturing facility at Dankuni near Kolkata for forged steel products which includes, bright steel bars, steel wires, fasteners & other value added forged steel products.

The Group has been exporting these products continuously to South East Asian countries, SAARC countries, Middle East Asian countries etc. The continuous increase in exports has won The Group several accolades and awards. The Engineering Export Promotion Council, one of the premier trade bodies recognized by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India has conferred on The Sonthalia Group companies several awards towards recognition of export achievement including trophy for all India Top Exporters of the year for the last three years.
